1/23 - 1/23 1st Annual Ice Fishing Classic. Headquartered at Maple View Resort with fishing on Pioneer Lake with registration from 7am-8am and fishing starting at 8am. Prizes

awards presented at 4pm. Sponsored by the Sayner/Star Lake Lions Call for

5/14 - 5/16 Chamber Annual Walleye Tournament. Headquartered at the Presque Isle
Chamber of Commerce with registration at 10am at the Presque Isle
Community Center, this event is held on various Presque Isle lakes. Contact

5/24 - 9/6 Lions Kids Fishing Contest. Headquartered at Up North Sport & Gifts, starting at
sunrise on May 24th and ending sunset September 6 and held on all the lakes of

6/4 - 6/6 Fishing Has No Boundaries. Headquartered at Wild Eagle Lodge with fishing on
the Eagle River Chain from 7am-4pm on Friday and Saturday and 7am-Noon on

6/5 - 6/6 3rd Annual Boulder Junction Walleye Tournament. Headquartered at the
Boulder Junction Community Center, five area lakes are included in this catch
& release tournament. All proceeds benefit the Boulder Junction Boat

6/20 - 6/20 Take a Kid Fishing. Held at the Conover Town Park from 11am-3pm. Children to
age 12 fish in Lake Itsy Bitsy for lunker trout. Poles and bait provided. Food and

6/20 - 6/20 Hank Lesniak's 'Valley of the Giants' Fishing Tournament. Headquartered at

6/26 - 6/27 Professional Musky Tournament Trail. Held on the Lower Eagle River Chain
(Catfish, Cranberry, Duck, Voyager, Watersmeet, Yellow Birch, Otter, Lynx, Eagle and Scattering Rice Lakes), this third leg of the PMTT brings many of the best musky anglers from all across the country. There are a maximum of 125 competitive teams. The public is welcome to meet the anglers on Saturday at 6pm or come for the results and awards presentation on Sunday at 3pm.

7/8 - 7/8 Guides/Kids Day. Headquartered at the Vilas County Fairgrounds starting with registration at 10am, kids aged 7-12 have the opportunity to fish with an area guide or have an alternative fishing experience. There is no charge and parents are asked to remain with their children until after the drawing to fish

8/20 - 8/22 National Championship Musky Open. Headquartered at the Vilas County Fairgrounds, this total catch and release tournament provides great family fun
for all ages and skill levels. Pre-registration encouraged (Cost is $50/person before August 1st. After August 1st, registrations will be at the Vilas County Fairgrounds starting Thursday evening, August 19th and the cost is $55/person.. 9/10 - 9/12 34th Annual World Championship Musky Classic. Held on designated lakes in Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, Winchester & Presque Isle with orientation at the Manitowish Waters Community Center on Friday at 9am. Fishing hours on
Friday are Noon-7pm; Saturday 7am-7pm; and Sunday 7am-11am. Sportsman & open divisions. Awards, lunch & raffle drawings Sunday at Winchester 11:30am-
